Michael Talento is a Brooklyn based saxophonist and songwriter whose music is an ethereal blend of rich textures and melody. Originally from Philadelphia, Michael began his musical life in the rich Philly jazz scene. He received his masters degree from New England Conservatory and moved to New York, where he has been living and playing ever since. His latest album, “Sunrise” is a genre bending experience, drawing influences from a wide array of music from Miles Davis to Radiohead and Paramore, and aiming to push the boundaries of improvised music.
